Oshkosh Defense has received a $27.6-million contract from the US Army to supply additional Medium Equipment Trailers (METs), boosting logistics capabilities.
This latest order includes 55 trailers and is part of a broader five-year deal for up to 557 units. It follows a similar contract from last year for 57 METs worth $27.3 million.
The trailers are intended to enhance the army’s modernization initiatives and meet current logistical demands.
Oshkosh highlighted the MET’s reliability in transporting essential equipment.
Dutch partner Broshuis BV will support production; however, no official delivery schedule has been announced.
