Turkish land systems manufacturer Otokar has signed a contract with Romtehnica, the procurement arm of the Romanian Ministry of Defense, to deliver 1,059 COBRA II 4×4 light tactical armored vehicles. Valued at around €857 million, the multi-year agreement represents a major step forward in Romania’s military modernization initiative. The deal also includes significant local production in Romania, further enhancing defense industry collaboration between the two nations.
