Patria has completed the delivery of SONAC ACS acoustic minesweeping systems to the Royal Norwegian Navy, fulfilling an order placed in 2021 for an undisclosed sum. The first units arrived early last year. Now replacing the decommissioned ELMA-AGATE sweep, the Finnish-made systems will serve as the primary tool for minefield clearance within Norway’s naval mine countermeasures operations.
