Patria and GDELS-Santa Barbara Sistemas have entered into a partnership to assemble and sustain ASCOD infantry fighting vehicles at Patria’s facility in Latvia. This move celebrates the fifth year of Patria’s presence in the country and coincides with the first anniversary of the Defence Partnership Latvia (DPL) production center in Valmiera. The DPL facility is jointly run by Patria and Latvian company Unitruck. It already manufactures PATRIA 6×6 armored vehicles and is set to begin producing ASCOD vehicles by June 2026.
