The Pentagon has announced a new partnership with Australia and the United Kingdom to advance hypersonic testing, aiming to enhance testing facilities and boost information sharing among the three nations. Named the Hypersonic Flight Test and Experimentation project (HyFliTE), the initiative plans to conduct up to six joint flight test campaigns by 2028.
