Poland has shelved its plan to acquire 32 S-70i Black Hawk helicopters for its military forces, attributing the move to a redirection in defense budget priorities.
The Polish Armament Group (PGZ) decided to cancel the project due to evolving strategic needs. Former Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak strongly criticized the cancellation, labeling it a “disgrace” and warning it could hinder the modernization timeline for Poland’s helicopter fleet.
