Poland has outlined its intention to procure a further 180 K2 Black Panther main battle tanks from South Korea, reinforcing its commitment to strengthening ground combat capabilities. This initiative builds on the $5.76 billion defense contract signed in August 2022 for 180 K2 units and over 200 K9A1 howitzers. According to multiple reports, the new deal—expected to be finalized next month—will be valued at around 9 trillion won ($6.1 billion).
