At DSEI 2025, Rafael Advanced Defense Systems showcased the Iron Beam 450, the largest and most advanced variant of its laser air defense systems.
The company highlighted that the new model delivers enhanced reach, quicker reaction capability, and reduced operating costs when compared to its predecessors.
Featuring a 450-millimeter aperture — larger than previous Rafael designs but still compact — the Iron Beam 450 appeared alongside the Iron Beam-M and Lite Beam. Its distinctive mounting gimbal makes it stand out as the newest member of the family.
