The US Navy has granted Raytheon a $580-million contract to continue production of the Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band (NGJ-MB) system. The deal provides for additional jammer pod sets, including those designated for Australia’s air force, alongside spare components and associated support gear through 2028. A comparable $590-million production contract was issued to the company last December for ongoing development.
