Romania’s Naval Forces are set to receive MQ-35A V-BAT VTOL drones from the US as part of a $30 million government-to-government deal. Each of the two V-BAT systems will include four drones, enhancing the navy’s unmanned capabilities. The procurement is a component of a larger military upgrade program that also features new maritime patrol ships, portable anti-aircraft missile systems, and versatile wheeled vehicles.
