In just 84 days, Saab and Sweden have jointly developed and trialed a new mobile counter-unmanned aerial system named “Loke.” Created with support from the Swedish Air Force, the Defence Materiel Administration, and other stakeholders, Loke is a scalable platform covering the entire kill chain—from drone detection via the Giraffe 1X radar to neutralization using the Trackfire remote weapon system, all coordinated through a lightweight command and control solution rooted in short-range air defense architecture.
