India has introduced the “Sanjay,” a state-of-the-art battlefield surveillance system designed to significantly enhance the Indian Army’s operational capabilities. Created in collaboration with the state-owned Bharat Electronics Limited, the system fuses data from a variety of ground and aerial sensors to generate a consolidated “common surveillance picture.” This advanced system improves precision, eliminates data redundancies, and maximizes the efficiency of the Army Data Network and Satellite Communication Network.
