Sikorsky Aircraft and Robinson Helicopter Company are seeking to transform cargo delivery and resupply operations with the Robinson R66 TURBINETRUCK, a newly developed autonomous helicopter designed for multiple mission profiles.
The aircraft features a modular architecture that allows operators to update mission software and quickly reconfigure the platform for different operational roles. It also integrates technologies derived from the Sikorsky S-70 U-Hawk program.
With no cockpit or crew stations, the helicopter offers a larger cargo fuselage, a dedicated cargo floor, and a nose-mounted clamshell door, enabling faster and more efficient pallet loading for logistics missions.
