Under a newly signed contract, Iraq is set to receive KUH-1 Surion utility transport helicopters from Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), marking the first such deal between KAI and Baghdad. The contract, worth 136 billion won ($92.7 million), includes two helicopters, with deliveries expected to be completed by March 2029, according to South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency.
