Sweden has signed an agreement for 100 4×4 medical transport vehicles under a defense mobility program launched in 2023.
Italian manufacturer Iveco Defence Vehicles received the order as part of a larger 3,000-unit plan for multi-role light vehicles based on the MUV platform.
The first phase involved 400 vehicles, including flatbeds, troop carriers, and medical variants.
The delivery will be fulfilled by 2027, with an optional five-year extension built into the plan.
Each unit will come with long-term support equipment and services to maintain readiness and functionality.
