MBDA UK has been contracted by Sweden to deliver additional Meteor active radar-guided missiles for the country’s JAS 39 Gripen C/D supersonic aircraft. Already operational with Sweden’s Gripen fleet since 2016, the Meteor is also integrated with Rafale and Eurofighter platforms. Delivery of the latest missile order is set to be completed within 2024.
