Switzerland has been officially approved by the EU to join the “Cyber Ranges Federation” (CRF), a multinational effort to synchronize cyber training networks across Europe. The initiative enables cross-border collaboration on cyber defense training, research, and exercises, with a focus on advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, and the protection of vital infrastructure like energy grids and military networks. The CRF aims to create a standardized, integrated cyber defense system among member states. Estonia heads the project, alongside nations including Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Finland, France, Italy, Latvia, and Luxembourg.
