Teledyne FLIR has completed a cross-Canada demonstration of its UltraFORCE 380X airborne imaging system, mounted on a helicopter’s nose. A four-person crew flew through 10 cities across seven provinces to highlight its capabilities, which include continuous zoom, infrared, and color imaging with strong low-light performance. Nearly identical to the Star SAFIRE base model, the UltraFORCE 380X stands out for being free from international restrictions, allowing broader use in military and commercial operations.
