Oman’s Ministry of Defense has taken a step toward expanding its maritime forces by ordering several vessels from Thai shipyard Marsun. Signed in Muscat by Dr. Mohammed Nasser Al Za’abi, the Ministry’s Secretary General, the agreement outlines the acquisition of unspecified ship classes expected to boost the Royal Navy of Oman’s overall capability.
