Unveiled at the 2023 Paris Air Show, the AAROK drone, developed by Turgis Gaillard, is France’s first homegrown MALE (Medium Altitude, Long Endurance) drone. It is tailored for ISR missions in high-threat theaters and coastal and open-sea surveillance.
The drone will be equipped with Thales’s AirMaster S radar, selected for its combat-proven effectiveness and its operational success on platforms like the French ATL2 maritime patrol aircraft. Additionally, the radar’s design is ideally suited for integration with MALE-class drones.
