Thales UK has delivered the Royal Navy’s first of four comprehensive autonomous minehunting systems. The RNMB “Ariadne,” a 12-meter-long unmanned surface vessel, is equipped with advanced artificial intelligence for automatic target detection and classification. Capable of both autonomous and remote-controlled operation, the system enhances mine countermeasure capabilities while reducing risks to personnel.
