The US Marine Corps has received an MQ-9A Reaper Block 5 Extended Range (ER) drone from General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, marking a significant enhancement in long-endurance mission capability. With modifications such as strengthened landing gear and additional fuel pods on the wings, the UAV’s flight endurance increases from 27 to over 30 hours, providing extended operational reach.
