A business jet has been transformed into Turkey’s first dedicated stand-off jammer (SOJ) aircraft, completing its maiden flight and marking a major step forward in the country’s airborne electronic warfare capabilities.
Built on the Bombardier Global 6000 platform, the HAVA SOJ aircraft is designed to disrupt enemy communications and radar systems while remaining outside hostile airspace.
The system uses a combination of jamming and deception techniques to interfere with both legacy and modern communication networks, enabling the aircraft to conduct electronic warfare missions while staying undetected and beyond enemy radar coverage.
