Turkey has unveiled the ALKA-KAPLAN, a hybrid combat vehicle equipped with a high-energy laser system designed to detect, disrupt, and destroy drones on the battlefield.
A joint creation of FNSS and ROKETSAN, the system combines the KAPLAN HYBRID tracked vehicle with the ALKA Directed Energy Weapon System, resulting in a stealthy, hybrid-powered anti-drone platform.
The vehicle features multiple payloads, including cameras, mission modules, and image-assisted navigation systems, enabling both remote and autonomous operation.
