Turkish drone manufacturer Baykar Technology revealed that its enhanced Bayraktar TB2T-AI has achieved a “record in its class,” reaching 40,000 feet (12,192 meters) during testing.
The UCAV reportedly accelerated to 160 knots (300 kilometers/186 miles per hour) and ascended to 30,000 feet (9,144 meters) within 30 minutes.
Baykar confirmed the drone maintained an altitude of 40,023 feet (12,199 meters), surpassing its previous record of 37,096 feet (11,306 meters). The duration of the flight was not disclosed.
