Romania has received approval from the US State Department for a potential $84 million acquisition of multiple GBU-39B Small Diameter Bombs. The request includes 400 GBU-39B SDB-I units and a limited number of inert GBU-39 (T-1)/B practice bombs with fuzes, all to be supplied by Boeing. The deal also covers tactical training munitions, reprogramming and diagnostic gear, ADU-890E adapter sets, as well as containers, spares, and logistical and programmatic assistance.
