The MV‑22B Osprey, developed by Bell Boeing, is a tiltrotor aircraft that merges helicopter-like vertical lift with the speed and range of a fixed-wing platform. Capable of carrying up to 9,000 kg internally or 6,800 kg externally, the Osprey can cruise at speeds exceeding 430 km/h and fly at altitudes higher than traditional rotorcraft.
