The US Navy has awarded Textron Systems a contract worth up to $106 million for the production of Mine Sweeping Payload Delivery Systems (PDS). The agreement covers the manufacturing of Payload Delivery Systems for the Mine Countermeasure Mission Package (MCMMP), along with spare parts and engineering support, to enhance the Navy’s minesweeping and mine-hunting capabilities.
