The UK government has entered into a comprehensive logistics and support agreement with General Atomics Aeronautical Systems for the RAF’s Protector RG Mk1 drone fleet.
This United Kingdom Protector Availability and Support Solution (UK PASS) contract also includes backing for the drone’s ground control systems and simulation-based training infrastructure. It falls under the wider SkyGuardian Global Support Solutions (SGSS) initiative, which supports all MQ-9B customers, including India and Taiwan.
SGSS enables shared access to labor, parts, and maintenance resources across participating countries, reducing service costs and improving operational efficiency.
