A new agreement between Ukraine and European defense firm KNDS will enable joint production of medium-caliber ammunition intended for use against infantry, light armored targets, and low-altitude threats. The manufacturing process will be overseen by Ukroboronprom, Ukraine’s state defense company, alongside KNDS’ Belgian division. “We are consistently expanding our global partnerships and exploring new forms of cooperation,” said Oleh Hulyak, head of Ukroboronprom. “This partnership directly supports our armed forces and aligns Ukraine’s defense industry more closely with NATO’s global defense ecosystem.”
