Ukraine has introduced the Buntar-3, a new reconnaissance drone developed by Buntar Aerospace, aimed at enhancing battlefield surveillance capabilities. This drone stands out due to its ability to function without GPS, making it more resilient to jamming and electronic interference.
The Buntar-3 features vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) and relies on artificial intelligence for navigation and target recognition. It can stay airborne for 3.5 hours, has an operational range of 80 kilometers, and can detect objects as far as 15 kilometers away. The launch reinforces Ukraine’s growing reliance on smart, signal-independent unmanned systems for front-line intelligence.
