Northrop Grumman has landed a pair of contracts worth a combined $1.4 billion to supply advanced air and missile defense systems to the U.S. and Poland. The initial $481-million, five-year agreement focuses on enhancing the U.S. Army’s Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS) through the Aviation Missile & Technology Consortium. As part of the improvements, the company will integrate Polish defense sensors, the UK’s CAMM system, and introduce AI and model-based systems engineering to boost system performance.
