As part of its ground forces modernization effort, the US Army has delivered the first Stryker armored vehicles and JLTVs to Pennsylvania. The 56th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, also known as the Independence Brigade and based in Horsham, received the new platforms. This unit is the Army’s first reserve-component Stryker brigade and one of nine such brigades across the service.
