Australia has received approval from the US State Department for a potential $91.2 million foreign military sale involving precision-guided munitions. The deal comprises 54 GMLRS-Alternate Warhead rounds, telemetry equipment, technical support, and related services. The initiative supports Canberra’s objectives of bolstering homeland defense, deepening coordination with US military operations, and establishing a more resilient domestic defense supply chain.
