Gentex Corporation has launched the Gentex LX9™ Liner System, a new helmet upgrade optimized for comfort and compatibility with various ground combat helmets. The lightweight drop-in liner is designed for enhanced breathability and features a 9-piece EPP and foam padding set, including a specially developed brow pad. Over 18,000 units are slated for delivery to the US Army for use in the NG-IHPS helmet in 2025. The system supports ACH, ECH, and NG-IHPS helmets and offers improved airflow, reduced pressure points, and better integration with communication gear, all through an adjustable one-size-fits-all design.
