M-tron Industries has been awarded a $5.5 million production contract to supply advanced radio frequency (RF) components for a critical US Navy weapon system.
The order includes durable crystal and lumped element filters engineered for demanding environments. M-tron has supported this particular naval program for almost a decade.
The components will be manufactured at M-tron’s Orlando, Florida plant, with production scheduled to run through 2026. The broader weapon system is projected to stay operational until at least 2035.
While the specific naval application remains undisclosed, these RF technologies are commonly used in radar systems, electronic warfare, and secure communications.
