Virginia-based defense firm V2X has introduced a new generation of mission-ready solutions for the US Army, featuring the Tempest, a mobile fires platform engineered for rapid strikes and stealthy repositioning.
The modular combat vehicle is equipped with dual Longbow missile launchers, enabling it to engage short- and medium-range drones with precision—even in adverse weather conditions.
After firing, Tempest automatically relocates using its “shoot-and-scoot” system, minimizing exposure to enemy counterfire and maintaining operational concealment.
