Lithuania is launching a 300-million-euro ($337.4 million) investment under the Vytis Initiative to become a key defense industry hub in the region. The country will act as a “one-stop shop” for businesses focused on concept development and exports.

About 100 defense firms are expected to benefit as the initiative boosts research, funding, and innovation alignment. It also aims to resolve long-standing issues like lack of early investment, certification facilities, and agency coordination.
