Thales has entered into an agreement with Naval Group to provide cutting-edge sonar technology for the Royal Netherlands Navy’s next-generation Orka-class submarines, which will replace the aging Walrus-class. These high-performance sonar systems are designed to significantly boost situational awareness by identifying and classifying underwater threats at different ranges and acoustic frequencies.
