AeroVironment, Inc. announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hans Christian Andersen Airport in Odense, Denmark, home to the UAS Denmark Test Center. The agreement aims to jointly leverage the center’s vast airspace and advanced testing infrastructure to back AeroVironment’s uncrewed aircraft system (UAS) demonstrations, mission training, and customer integration efforts across the region.
This collaboration will support joint research and development (R&D) initiatives and accelerate the development of the UAS Denmark Test Center as a leading regional hub for advanced UAS innovation, testing, and operational readiness.
The MOU builds upon AeroVironment’s February 2025 Framework Agreement with the Danish Ministry of Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organization (DALO), through which it delivers advanced UAS platforms, training, and lifecycle support to enhance the Danish Armed Forces’ intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities. This agreement reinforces AV’s commitment to providing tactical advantages through scalable and battle-tested UAS technology.
Formalizing this partnership allows AeroVironment to expand its global operational support network, ensuring allied forces have access to the tools and training essential for maintaining readiness in rapidly evolving environments.
