A joint team from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) is designing a multi-tiered UAV defense solution against persistent aerial threats.
Dubbed the Shepherd Grid Strategy, the system borrows inspiration from wolf-pack hunting techniques, using collective maneuvers to chase, monitor, encircle, and ultimately strike down enemy drones.
