BAE Systems has teamed up with Czech systems integrator PragoData to co-develop Integrated Product Support solutions designed to improve the management and maintenance of military equipment within Czechia’s defense forces.
Initially, BAE Systems will provide software and services centered on asset management and lifecycle support. The joint effort will merge both companies’ expertise to modernize and sustain critical military assets, including armored and complex platforms.
A key feature of the initiative is the use of PropheSEA, BAE’s real-time asset management software already supporting the Royal Navy and NATO members. The solution integrates with Eurostep’s ShareAspace platform to enable secure data exchange and streamlined logistics coordination.
BAE Systems stated that the partnership will help boost the Czech military’s operational readiness and minimize maintenance downtime.
Supporting National Defense Growth
The agreement aligns closely with Czechia’s broader plan to modernize its defense sector and industrial base amid regional security pressures, as the nation targets defense expenditure of three percent of GDP by 2030.
The BAE–PragoData partnership strengthens this modernization roadmap through data-driven logistics and asset sustainment technologies.
Czechia continues to enhance its defense manufacturing capabilities by securing major vehicle contracts, partnering with NATO suppliers, and advancing digital maintenance infrastructure. In 2025, the first CV90 MkIV infantry fighting vehicle was delivered under a long-term contract for over 200 units, and the recent procurement of 44 Leopard 2A8 battle tanks valued at 32.76 billion Czech koruna ($1.56 billion) will further reinforce the nation’s armored fleet between 2028 and 2031.
