Elbit Systems, an Israeli defense contractor, has signed a $1.6-billion agreement to deliver advanced military technologies to a European client across a five-year period.

The contract covers two main technology bundles, both incorporating Elbit’s state-of-the-art systems with embedded AI.

The first bundle focuses on long-range artillery, rocket systems, and a diverse fleet of unmanned aerial vehicles—from lightweight tactical drones to loitering munitions—geared for surveillance, reconnaissance, and precision strike operations.

The second bundle provides SIGINT/COMINT solutions, electronic warfare capabilities, upgraded intelligence and data-processing tools, advanced electro-optical and night-vision equipment, and modernization kits for combat vehicles and protection systems.

The customer will also receive a fully integrated digital battlefield network, powered by Elbit’s C4ISR suite, to link command centers, frontline units, and vehicles in real time.

According to CEO Bezhalel Machlis, the deal underlines Europe’s increasing demand for cutting-edge, integrated defense solutions and reinforces Elbit’s role as a trusted supplier.
