General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) and Parry Labs have announced a strategic partnership to accelerate digital transformation across US Army combat platforms.
The collaboration will combine GDLS’s deep experience in armored vehicle engineering with Parry Labs’ modular software, AI-enabled systems, and edge-computing technology to establish an end-to-end software delivery ecosystem for the Army’s ground forces.
The initiative aims to simplify integration processes, reduce lifecycle costs, and deliver new capabilities to soldiers faster.
According to the partners, the project aligns with the US Army’s broader modernization strategy and will be featured at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) 2025 expo in Washington, DC.
Digital Integration Momentum
The GDLS–Parry Labs alliance reflects the growing shift toward digitally integrated defense systems across US military branches.
The Army’s Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle and Next Generation Combat Vehicle programs already employ open-architecture designs to support rapid software updates and seamless sensor integration.
Similarly, the US Air Force’s Advanced Battle Management System connects aircraft, drones, and ground forces through a secure cloud network, enabling faster data sharing and command decisions.
At sea, the US Navy’s Project Overmatch follows a parallel path—creating a unified, resilient digital network to link ships, submarines, and aircraft for real-time targeting and mission coordination.
