Estonian defense firm Milrem Robotics and Australia-based EOS Defence Systems have signed a teaming agreement to strengthen unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) capabilities and pursue opportunities in combat autonomy.

Under the partnership framework, the two companies will jointly advance research and development of network-centric architectures, enabling seamless integration of weapons, sensors, and Milrem’s UGV platforms.

The collaboration is expected to incorporate a range of advanced systems, including counter-drone technologies, missile and grenade launchers, large-caliber weapon stations, and directed-energy (laser) solutions across future UGV configurations.

The partners will also co-develop complementary technologies, share technical expertise, and accelerate commercialization and operational deployment of next-generation autonomous ground systems.

Initial market focus will target the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), the Asia-Pacific region, and Europe, with potential expansion into the United States based on evolving operational requirements.

Priority countries include the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, and selected European defense programs where the combined capabilities of Milrem and EOS offer strategic advantages.

Beyond these markets, the companies plan to identify new customer segments and implement joint business development and marketing strategies to expand global reach.
