Patria and Valmet Automotive have entered a partnership to support technology transfer and the initial production of Patria armored vehicles in Finland. The first units will be assembled at Valmet’s Uusikaupunki plant beginning in the second half of 2026. The collaboration follows rapid growth in Patria’s armored vehicle programs across Europe. Sweden recently expanded its Patria 6×6 order to 415 vehicles, while Latvia handed over 21 locally built APCs to Ukraine. Denmark also selected Patria to supply 129 CAVS 6×6 platforms. Although financial terms were not disclosed, the agreement underscores Patria’s strategy to expand manufacturing capacity through national industrial partners.
