Rheinmetall of Germany and Poland’s defense group Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) have signed an MoU to establish a new partnership dedicated to producing next-generation support vehicles for the Polish military.

The collaboration will create the European Support Vehicles Center, tasked with designing and constructing armored recovery, mine-clearing, and bridge-laying platforms to strengthen Poland’s ground forces.

Rheinmetall, a major supplier of armored systems including the Keiler NG, already operates a subsidiary in Warsaw. For its part, PGZ oversees much of Poland’s domestic defense industry, coordinating production across a range of state-owned defense manufacturers.
