In a push for greater defense self-reliance, Taiwan has rolled out two new indigenous drones along with a prototype wheeled tank.

A Military News Agency video highlighted the systems, including a bomb-capable multirotor UAV, a fixed-wing loitering drone, and the “D3” 105mm wheeled tank.

Developed by the 202nd Plant of the Armaments Bureau with support from private industry, the drones are designed for asymmetric operations with an emphasis on quick production, mass deployment, and cost efficiency.
