CACI International has been awarded an $85 million contract to continue delivering engineering and technical support for the US Navy’s fleet, including ships, submarines, and other maritime platforms.
Issued under the Navy’s SeaPort Next Generation framework, the contract includes services such as data analytics, software development, and upgrades to onboard control systems, supporting both new ship designs and the sustainment of existing vessels.
Under this effort, CACI will enhance software tools used in ship design and automated control systems to boost operational performance and efficiency, while also strengthening cybersecurity measures to safeguard mission-critical systems and data.
Recent Developments
The award reflects CACI’s expanding footprint across multiple defense domains. Earlier this month, the company finalized a $2.6 billion all-cash acquisition of ARKA Group, aimed at bolstering its space-based intelligence capabilities.
ARKA brings expertise in electro-optical, infrared, and hyperspectral sensing, along with AI-driven software for geospatial intelligence applications.
In February, CACI also achieved a milestone in another naval program, as its Spectral electronic warfare system received Milestone C approval from the US Navy. This clears the way for low-rate initial production and fleet deployment.
Valued at approximately $1.2 billion, Spectral is designed to provide naval platforms with advanced tools to detect and analyze signals across radar, communications, and the broader electromagnetic spectrum, enhancing situational awareness in operations.
