The Israel Defense Forces has assigned 20 newly trained artificial intelligence specialists to operational units, tasking them with transforming vast volumes of raw data into actionable battlefield insights.
The researchers completed an intensive six-week program at Basmach — the military’s School for Computer Professions — under the AI-focused “Bina” division of the C4I and Cyber Defense Directorate.
They are now being integrated into various units to develop systems capable of analyzing text, audio, and visual intelligence streams in real time.
